We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Housekeeper to support one of our clients located in Downtown Halifax. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and has experience maintaining clean, welcoming spaces for guests.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: $17/hr (up to $18 after 3 months) + 4% vacation pay

  • Monday to Friday; 8:30 AM – 3:00 – 4:00 PM (finish up)

  • Minimum of 1 month contract (possible extension up until summer)

  • Weekly Pay

  • Free Parking

  • Provided transportation by the client

 

What You'll Do:

  • Performing full turnover cleans for new guests, including deep cleaning as required

  • Making beds, changing linens, and replenishing towels and amenities

  • Laundry duties (washing, drying, and folding linens and towels)

  • Pick up daily cleaning supplies and assigned unit keys in the morning

  • Work independently throughout the day at assigned units. Return keys to the housekeeping area at the end of the shift.

  • Following cleanliness and safety standards at all times.

  • Other housekeeping duties as required. 

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Commercial cleaning experience

  • Must be able to work independently. 

  • Strong English communication skills, reliable and trustworthy. 

  • Clean criminal background.
