This Dock Worker role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, staying active throughout their shift, and contributing to a team-focused operation. The right person will be comfortable handling freight, meeting productivity targets, and working efficiently in a busy warehouse setting.
What You'll Do
- Sort, organize, and store packages and inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Load and unload freight and packages safely and efficiently
- Check package labels and shipping information for accuracy
- Inspect packages for damages and report any issues
- Pick products according to order forms while maintaining speed and accuracy
- Operate warehouse tools and equipment safely
- Lift, move, and handle products weighing up to 50 lbs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with team members to meet daily productivity goals
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
What You'll Bring
- Previous warehouse, dock, logistics, or related experience
- Forklift experience is an asset
- CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots that cover the ankle
- Clean criminal background check
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Reliable transportation, as the facility is not accessible by public transit
- Flexibility to work changing schedules and shift times as required
Benefits & Environment
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Overnight shift, typically 2:00 AM to 10:00 AM (shift times may vary)
- $19.00 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
- Weekly pay every Friday
