Our client, a well-established production facility serving growers and consumers, is known for maintaining efficient operations and high safety standards. We are seeking a reliable Production Line Worker to join their team.
What We Offer:
- Salary: $23.27 hourly to start.
- Working Hours: Monday to Thursday – 5pm–3:30am (regular shift) – Training will be completed on Day Shift 7.00am – 5.30pm
What You’ll Do:
- Operate, monitor, and tend production line machinery in a safe manner.
- Prepare and load materials for the packaging line (bags, soil, pallets, labels, etc.).
- Inspect products for quality, removing any defective items.
- Move packaged soil to designated areas using hand trucks or pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Assist with minor equipment adjustments and basic troubleshooting as directed.
- Follow all company safety and quality policies, WHMIS guidelines, and use PPE correctly.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment considered an asset.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Able to regularly lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs).
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.
- Exposure to dust, noise, large equipment, and temperature variations (indoor and outdoor). PPE must be worn as required.
