We are currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for our client in the Health Industry. Working remotely, you will support some members of the Talent Acquisition Team and contribute to the team’s overall success by providing a high level of client service and ensuring priorities are met. The role is national in scope and provides coordination, administration, and support to the Talent Acquisition, Supervisor, and the Talent Acquisition specialists located across Canada.   
 
What we offer:
 
  • Location: Brampton ON – Hybrid – 2 days in office.
  • Reporting to:  Talent Acquisition, Supervisor 
  • Work Hours:   Monday to Friday, flexible 8 AM – 4 PM or 9 AM – 5PM – including a 30-minute lunch break and a 15-minute break in the morning and in the afternoon. 
  • Pay: $27/hr. – $29/hr. depending on experience   
  • Contract Dates: Start ASAP for 3 months, with possibility of extension
 
 What you’ll do:
 
  • Lead pre-screening, interviewing, Candiate Shortlisting offer negotiations, Coordinating interviews and onboarding and candidate communication
  • Monitoring/responding to the HR inbox
  • Coordinates and tracks the applicant background check process including references and verifications using Global Screening.   
  • Posting positions on external sites, including LinkedIn, Colleges/Universities, Associations, etc.  
  • Proactively Building candidate pipelines and supporting proactive recruitment efforts
  • Administers online testing as required by hiring managers.  
  • Performs other related duties as required. 
 
What we’re looking for:
 
  • Post-secondary level education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.  
  • Must have 2 years in talent acquisition/recruitment experience
  • Unionized experience is an asset
  • Must have experience with recruitment tools such as Indeed and LinkedIn and applicant tracking systems ideally (SuccessFactors) 
  • Must have experience working in and/or providing support to a virtual team.  
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must have excellent project management skills.
  • Must demonstrate ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage a large volume of information.
  • Must pass a criminal check
