We’re seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join a major transportation client with an immediate start in the Grand Falls-Windsor, NL area! This is a great company with career growth opportunities for the right candidate.
What We Offer:
- $18 an hour, plus 4% vacation pay added to your rate
- Monday to Friday – 8 AM to 4 PM OR 11 AM to 7 PM
- Weekly pay, every Friday!

What You’ll Do:
- Make telephone calls and send emails to centralized customer service.
- Book delivery appointments via phone and email.
- Bill accessorial/additional fees as required.
- Maintain group email boxes and answer queue calls when required.
- Receive calls from drivers who are not delivering freight for specific reasons and log and note comments in pros.
- Scan, photocopy, and fax documents.
- Other administrative duties as required (which could include pulling reports).
- Audit shipping documents for accuracy, correct and report to supervisor as needed.
- Understand Federal Transportation Compliance documentation and react to and report non-compliance.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of secondary education, with preference of post-secondary education (completed or currently enrolled).
- Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation and customer service is beneficial.
- Experience with TruckMate is not required but is considered an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Able to work deadlines in high transactional, fast paced environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Able to work with little supervision.
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
- Must be fluent in English, other languages an asset.
