This Class 5 Driver role is ideal for a professional who enjoys being on the road, providing excellent service, and working in a hands-on warehouse and logistics environment. What You'll Do
- Operate a 26-foot, 5-ton straight truck to safely transport donated goods to Salvation Army store locations.
- Load, unload, and deliver palletized donations and large boxed items using a pallet jack.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain safe driving practices while representing the organization professionally.
- During downtime between deliveries, you would assist with sorting donated items including metals, electronics, shoes, and other materials.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Participate in a rotating Saturday schedule, working approximately 4 hours every 3rd or 4th weekend.
What You’ll Bring
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- 1+ years professional experience operating delivery trucks or commercial vehicles
- Ability to safely lift and move donated goods and work in both driving and warehouse environments.
- Reliable attendance and strong commitment to workplace safety

Schedule
