The Role: Job Title
In this role, you will spend most of your time driving new business.. You will work closely with clients and be responsible for delivering outcomes related to prospecting, lead generation, client acquisition, account management and revenue growth. This role balances sales with client management, providing clarity on expectations from day one.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities throughout Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, social selling, community involvement, and strategic outreach.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, workforce consultations, and site visits.
- Develop and present staffing, recruitment, and workforce solutions tailored to client needs.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate service agreements, and close new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve activity, revenue, and gross profit targets.
- Monitor local market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing accounts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client concerns and service-related issues.
- Work closely with Recruitment Consultants and delivery teams to ensure client requirements are clearly understood and successfully fulfilled.
- Conduct detailed client intake meetings to understand hiring needs, organizational culture, and workforce challenges.
- Maintain clear communication between clients and internal recruitment teams throughout the hiring process.
- Ensure all client engagements align with Drake International policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, activity reports, client notes, and sales forecasts.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and requests.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance client experience and operational effectiveness.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 3 years of Business-to-Business sales experience.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of generating new business and closing sales opportunities.
- Experience managing and growing client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Strong networking, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and build a territory from the ground up.
- Experience within staffing, recruitment, workforce solutions, industrial, transportation, logistics, professional services, or related industries is considered an asset.
