Our client, located in Brockville, are a leading and well-known provider in the manufacturing and transportation industry looking for an Experienced Order Picker/Warehouse Worker to join their team. This is a fast-paced and physical work environment.
What We Offer:
- Hourly Salary: $24 hourly plus 4% vacation pay
- Job Type: temporary-permanent position offering full-time hours
- 2 Shifts available: Sunday-Thursday 3pm-12am or Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-12am in addition to overtime
- Ability and willingness to work ALL Statuatory Holidays and Overtime is required to be successful in this role (required)
What You'll Do:
- Working in the Freezer/Cooler (8 degrees)
- Load, unload, prepare, pick, receive, ship, and cycle count inventory
- Use SAP and Warehouse Management Systems
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and efficient
- Working well with others, you will support your team and flex across roles when needed
- CSA Approved Steel Toe Boots
What We're Looking For:
- Must be able comfortable taking a pre-employment drug test and can pass a pre-employment drug test including the use of cannabis (required)
- Clear criminal record (required)
- 1-2 years previous order picking and warehouse experience (required)
- Previous experience using hand-held devices such as SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (required)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, cold environment (required)
- Physically able to lift to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day, this job is physical and requires walking, bending, stretching lifting
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and team-focused working well with others
