We’re seeking a Project Coordinator to join our client’s construction team in Edmonton, Alberta. As a Project Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects by assisting with coordination, documentation, and communication across the full project lifecycle.

What You'll Do:
Support the senior project team with reading drawings, interpreting specifications, and assisting in schedule development
Coordinate project activities from pre-construction through to close-out
Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders, ensuring timely tracking and communication
Prepare and distribute project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and status updates
Assist with procurement tracking, material deliveries, and subcontractor coordination
Support contract administration, including purchase orders, change orders, and progress claims
Maintain project schedules, drawing logs, and document control systems (Procore)
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to help meet project milestones
Assist with project close-out including deficiencies, warranties, and turnover documentation
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies

What We're Looking For:
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field
2–5 years of experience in a Project Coordinator or junior PM role within a General Contractor environment
Ability to read construction drawings and interpret specifications
Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control processes
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Procore and MS Project is an asset
Solid understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and best practices
Strong relationship-building skills with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
Detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
