Our client, a mission-driven healthcare organization, is looking for a Manager, BioManufacturing to join their team.

What we offer:
  • Location: Vancouver, BC
  • Type of Job: Permanent, Full-Time
  • Pay: $110,000 – $125,000 + up to 10% annual performance bonus
  • Start Date: April 6, 2026
  • Shift: Days, Monday to Friday (on-site, 5 days/week)
What you’ll do:
  • Lead production and distribution operations across multiple regional sites, ensuring efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean methodologies to enhance operational performance
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve throughput, quality, and cost-effectiveness
  • Partner cross-functionally to address technical challenges, improve workflows, and support a culture of quality and innovation
  • Lead projects from planning through execution, including analysis, recommendations, approvals, and implementation
  • Oversee manufacturing processes within a GMP and quality-controlled environment
  • Contribute to strategic planning and manage budgets aligned with operational goals
  • Support and develop a high-performing team through people-first leadership practices
What we’re looking for:
  • Post-secondary education in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related technical field (Master’s degree strongly preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing, biomanufacturing, production, or process engineering environments
  • Strong focus on process optimization, lean, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience working within GMP and quality-regulated environments
  • Demonstrated leadership capability or strong potential to step into leadership
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Must meet the Trustworthiness and Reliability Verification requirements of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and be eligible for criminal record and employment verification checks
  • Open to candidates from adjacent regulated industries, including food and beverage manufacturing, with transferable GMP and process optimization experience
