Production Worker/Packer – Day and Afternoon Shift (rotating)
Our client, located in Lyn, requires Production Workers/ Packers to join their team. 
What We Offer:
  • Salary:   $20.46 per hour plus 4% vacation pay 
    • $1.00 per hour shift premium for afternoons, evenings and weekends
  • Working hours: Full-time hours working both day and afternoon shifts (rotating weekly, you must have the ability to work both shifts)
    • Shift rotation option 1: 7am – 330pm & 330pm – 12am (Monday – Friday)
    • Shift rotation option 2: 6am – 430pm & 430pm – 3am (Monday – Thursday)
  • Flexibility to work full time, overtime and all shifts is required to be successful in this role
What you are doing:
  • Pack and inspect materials for quality control
  • Ensure safety requirements are always adhered to
  • Perform tasks as directed in warehousing, shipping and receiving
  • Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends
  • Dedicated team player with attention to detail and mechanical ability
What you need:
  • Attention to details is a must!
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing is an asset
  • High School Certificate or equivalent preferred; one year of experience in the food industry/manufacturing is an asset
  • Ability to safely lift 30-50 lbs. repeatedly while bending and twisting
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays and weekends
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Excellent work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
