Drake International is currently recruiting an Electrician- Straight Days in London, Ontario. Our client is one of the oldest family-owned companies in London boasting excellent work environment and possibilities for growth!!
What we offer:
- $43-46.00 an hour dependent on experience
- Overtime after 40 hours a week.
- Excellent benefits.
- Straight Days – Leave at 12:00pm every Friday.
What you will do:
- Schedule regular and preventive maintenance checks for electrical systems
- Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and repair electrical equipment as necessary, while adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure continuous improvement by highlighting deficiencies and providing recommendations wherever is needed.
- Must be able to read blueprints, drawings and specifications is essential to this role, as the Maintenance Electrician will be replacing electrical appliances as needed.
- Familiar with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, understanding that safety is the number one priority and will act immediately to mitigate or address all safety risks.
- Providing electrical maintenance support for all operations, preferably in a family-operated, manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on professional with strong follow-through and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multi-task.
Who you are:
- 309A or 442A license in hand – No apprentices will be considered at this time.
- A clean criminal record.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in a foundry an asset.
- 5-8 years hands on experience.
