AZ Delivery Driver 

Our clients, located in Brockville and Lyn, require an AZ Delivery Driver to join their team. 

What We Offer:
  • Hourly rate of pay: $29.37 per hour plus 4% vacation pay
  • Overtime after 44 hours
  • Shift premiums of $1.00 per hour where applicable for evenings and weekend work
  • Job type: Full time hours 
  • Shift: Dispatch time between 1:00am to 4:00am depending on run 
What you are doing:
  • Conduct daily pre & post trips of vehicle
  • Pick up, deliver and load/unload product
  • Use of pallet jack to load/unload
  • Use of electronic logs
  • Retail Store deliveries as well as re-load pick-ups some hand bombing.
  • Document all required information accurately and legibly, using driver logbook, trip reports, accident/incident reports and maintenance of temperature on reefers
  • Be punctual about scheduled appointments and dock times arriving on time with reliability
What you need:
  • An experienced AZ Driver with 1 year (minimum) clean driving (53’ trailer) record
  • Ability to perform and pass a test drive and attend an in-person interview 
  • Ability to work early mornings (between 1:00am to 4:00am start times)
  • Provide a clean CVOR & Abstract in the past 30 days
  • Experienced at backing up/reverse (parking at loading dock) working for retail or grocery stores
  • Familiarity and prior use of electronic logs
  • Comfortable and experienced using manual hand-jacks
  • Punctuality, reliability and honesty with a positive team-oriented approach to work
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • You must be physically fit, able to lift to 50 pounds and able to handle large workload, loading trailers with pallet jacks
  • Bilingual with English/French considered an asset
