Our client is currently looking for an CNC Milling Set Up Operator on a permanent basis to join their growing team.
What we offer:
- Reporting to: Location Manager
- Work Hours: TBD
- Hourly Rate: $26-30/hour
- Permanent Full time, with benefits
What you'll do:
- Set-Up and Operate CNC milling machines to produce parts according to specifications.
- Prepare and setup fixtures.
- Load and run programs, modify if necessary.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
- Deburr and clean parts as required to meet quality standards.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of proven CNC Milling Set-Up experience.
- Knowledge of machining practices, blueprints, and measuring tools.
- Knowledge of G-codes.
- Experience with Fanuc Controls is an asset.
- Experience Setting up 5-axis machines with pallet system is an asset.
