Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of inventory throughout the facility. This role oversees shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, warehouse staff, and operational performance while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The Warehouse Manager drives continuous improvement initiatives, optimizes warehouse processes, and ensures high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient inventory and distribution management.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and operational efficiency. 
  • Manage shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and storage activities. 
  • Supervise, coach, train, and develop warehouse supervisors, coordinators, and warehouse associates. 
  • Plan staffing requirements, schedule employees, and monitor labour productivity. 
  • Monitor warehouse KPIs, including productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and on-time shipping. 
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities. 
  • Oversee inbound and outbound freight, carrier coordination, and dock operations. 
  • Develop and implement warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs. 
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. 
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, operational issues, and customer concerns, implementing corrective actions. 
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure seamless workflow. 
  • Prepare operational reports and analyze warehouse performance metrics. 
  • Manage warehouse equipment, facility maintenance, and vendor relationships. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies. 
What You Will Bring
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. 
  • 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience (3PL) 
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience within a warehouse environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory management, and warehouse operations. 
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
