We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Production Workers to join a fast‑growing seafood processing operation. This is a hands‑on role ideal for individuals who are comfortable with physical work and want full‑time hours.
What We Offer:
- Pay: $19 per hour + 4% vacation pay (weekly pay)
- Schedule: Full‑time hours, often 6 days per week
- Shift: 6:00 or 6:30 a.m., working until approximately 5:00 p.m.
- Contract: Ongoing temporary with potential temp‑to‑permanent opportunity for strong performers
- Growth: Opportunity for long‑term, full‑time employment
What You'll Do:
- Work on a seafood production line handling fresh salmon and fish products
- Cut, clean, trim, season, and marinate fish products
- Package finished products using a thermoformer (packaging machine)
- Inspect products and packaging for quality and defects
- Prepare products for shipment and record basic production information
- Perform repetitive tasks involving lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Use tools such as pallet jacks as required
- Support general production duties as needed
- Work Environment: Wet, damp, cold conditions
What We're Looking For:
- Ability to perform repetitive physical work, including standing for long periods
- Comfortable working with raw fish products in a cold environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform push/pull activities
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic are essential
- Steel‑toed rubber safety boots and bibs required (can be borrowed initially; reimbursement available)
- Willingness to follow food safety rules, including removal of jewelry and piercings during work
- Reliable transportation required (location is not on a bus route)
- Prior experience is an asset but not required—this role is primarily labour‑based and training is provided.
