We are currently recruiting an experienced and peoplefocused Engineering Manager to lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team supporting the manufacturing of PCBA and mechanical assemblies. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role plays a critical part in driving technical excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across engineering and production functions.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing daytoday coaching, mentorship, and performance guidance to support PCBA and mechanical manufacturing operations. 
  • Oversee engineering project execution endtoend, ensuring documentation, tools, and programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with production and quality standards. 
  • Partner crossfunctionally with Operations, Product Management, and Quality to support manufacturing readiness, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth production launches. 
  • Drive continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives, setting and refining standards that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability across engineering and production. 
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight in hardware, programs, and documentation development while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, SOPs, and quality work instructions. 
  • Contribute strategically to longterm engineering and technology planning, evaluating new tools and technologies to support business growth and operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an asset, and equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading or managing engineering teams within a manufacturing environment, with a strong coaching and peopledevelopment mindset. 
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and the ability to translate them into practical, measurable improvements. 
  • Proven ability to balance technical leadership with operational priorities, supporting both shortterm execution and longterm strategy. 
  • Highly effective communicator and collaborator, capable of aligning engineering, operations, quality, and leadership teams around shared objectives. 
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt quickly in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. 
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with solid problemsolving and decisionmaking skills, particularly in complex technical or production scenarios. 
  • Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing floor environments; English proficiency required, with French considered an asset.
