Monday to Friday – Day shift. Starting ASAP to allow overlap with current Lead Mechanic until retirement in October 2025

What You'll Do:

Troubleshoot and repair high-speed machinery, including pneumatics and hydraulics, to minimize downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance and implement machinery modifications.
Install new equipment and fabricate parts using welding and grinding tools.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and report incidents promptly.
Maintain accurate documentation for work orders, parts requisitions, and maintenance logs.
Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
Mentor and support junior maintenance staff.
Keep the work area clean and organized, including parts inventory management.
Express ideas/concepts & instructions as required.

What We're Looking For:

High school diploma and valid Journeyman Millwright Certificate (Red Seal).
4 – 5 years of Journeyman Millwright experience in a manufacturing setting.
Strong mechanical skills with experience in automation/robotics are an asset.
Proficient in English (verbal, written, and comprehension).
A commitment to safety and food quality standards.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
