What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair high-speed machinery, including pneumatics and hydraulics, to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventative maintenance and implement machinery modifications.
- Install new equipment and fabricate parts using welding and grinding tools.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and report incidents promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation for work orders, parts requisitions, and maintenance logs.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Mentor and support junior maintenance staff.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, including parts inventory management.
- Express ideas/concepts & instructions as required.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma and valid Journeyman Millwright Certificate (Red Seal).
- 4 – 5 years of Journeyman Millwright experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical skills with experience in automation/robotics are an asset.
- Proficient in English (verbal, written, and comprehension).
- A commitment to safety and food quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
