Job Description

We are seeking an Full Cycle Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Surrey, BC. As a Bookkeeper, you’ll collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure accurate bookkeeping and support essential processes like payroll, budgeting, and tax preparation. 

What We Offer:
  • Salary: up to $72,000/year, depending on experience

What You'll Do:
  • Prepare financial reports using Excel and macros.
  • Prepare bi-weekly payroll for all staff.
  • Reconcile monthly bank and credit card statements.
  • Reconcile and post weekly shipping invoices.
  • Assist with month-end closing entries.
  • Support year-end financial processes.
  • Monitor and manage all Accounts Payable functions.
  • Review and post vendor invoices against Purchase Orders.
  • Review vendor statements to identify missing invoices or credits.
  • Assist with weekly cheque and EFT runs.
  • Post company expenses and vendor invoices into QuickBooks.
  • Complete vendor forms and credit applications.
  • Monitor and manage all Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Post incoming payments (cheque, credit card, direct deposit).
  • Issue client statements for overdue accounts.
  • Conduct follow-ups and collections via phone and email.
  • Review client profiles for credit limits and perform credit checks.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role.

  • Advanced QuickBooks experience is a MUST.

  • Intermediate Excel & MS Office knowledge.

  • Ability to communicate promptly and professionally regarding client and vendor finance issues.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service, Fulfillment, and Sales.
  • Work effectively as part of the Finance team to support clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Maintain open and timely communication on financial matters.
