Job Description

Title: AZ Driver Switch- Kingston to Cornwall LTL

We have an opportunity for AZ drivers for a client of ours in the region of Kingston for 2 weeks. As an AZ driver, you’ll be working from Mon-Fri. You’ll be doing switch work starting from Kingston to Cornwall/Ottawa area. This involves Switches LTL and some regional highway driving work, but you will be home every day.

What we offer:

Mon-Fri- Day Shift 5-6 AM Start
Pay: $27.50/hr
10-12 Hour shifts
2 Weeks Coverage
We also pay on incorporation

What you do:

Local and regional (within Ontario) switch highway work starting from Kingston to Cornwall/Ottawa area
Perform daily commercial vehicle inspections with the completion of necessary safety checks and monitoring the vehicle for any major/minor defects and report it to safety.
Demonstrate Customer Service Standards for delivery service.
Accurately obtain required signatures on bill of lading and delivery paperwork
Comply with hours-of-service regulations as per ministry of transportation.

Who you are:

Valid AZ License with clean CVOR and Abstract
Minimum 5 years AZ driving experience
Must be available for a 2 week coverage at the moment only
Must have Clean Criminal Background
