- Unloading containers and/or trailers in a fast-paced, limited space environment.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet area, and workstations tidy.
- Assist with receiving and palletizing and checking in merchandise
- Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times including sweeping and dusting.
- In this assignment, you may be requested to assist in product receiving, stocking and organizing.
- This position requires regular bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing and pulling as well as lifting up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Ability and willingness to work shift work, including evenings and Nights (14.00 – 20.00 or 02.00 – 08.00)
- Able to handle heavy lifting up to 50 lbs and perform proper handling techniques to avoid accidents and damage
- Ability to work in an environment of physical activity, including bending and stretching for extended periods of time
- Follow all company expectations to promote a safe work environment and perform all work safely in a fast-paced work environment.
- PPE must be worn at all times.
- Must possess a valid forklift certification and have previous forklift experience
- Must possess CSA approved, steel-toed safety boots
- Work efficiently as a team player and be able to work under minimal supervision.
- Effective in communication.
- Problem solver with excellent organizational skills.
- Minimum 18-24 months of prior, stable experience in a similar position.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to bend and carry items weighing 25-50 pounds is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- CSA approved steel toed boots
