Job Description

Inventory Control Coordinator
 
We are currently looking for someone for our client located in Balzac, AB. 
Looking for someone who has a positive attitude, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is self-motivated, as well as someone who has good work ethic and is reliable and dependable.

What you do:
 
  1. Perform daily inventory tasks (cycle counts, location verification & troubleshooting).
  2. Daily communication & updates with leadership team & coordinators.
  3. Ensure inbounds and returns are processed in a timely manner.
  4. Daily count back review and performing investigation as necessary.
  5. Process customer and carrier OSD claims and maintain OSD weekly report.
  6. Process quality holds, expired product, incubation holds, stop ships and Mock recalls as requested and ensure communication with the team.
  7. Daily checking red flag report to maintain SSBD in the warehouse.
  8. Coordinate with the customer with food quality information, investigations in a timely manner.
  9. Assist in the scheduling of inbounds for shifts based on workload.
  10. Investigate warehouse inventory issues and variances (shorts & overages) by performing root cause analysis and completing applicable adjustments maintaining inventory accuracy of all finished goods within the operation.
  11. Handle product damages & monitor damage and donation areas.
  12. Maintain daily metrics, cycle count tracker, monthly client, and performance reports.
  13. Prepare and coordinate annual quality and inventory events (physical cycle counts, AIB, HACCP, BRCGS audit, etc.)
  14. Perform empty Chep pallet count audits.
  15. Coordinate food bank donations & product disposals.
  16. Other duties as assigned.
 
Who you are:
 
  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Experience working in a food grade distribution center.
  3. Understanding of overall quality benchmarks and the process flow of goods.
  4. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  5. Strong communication skills with internal and external parties.
  6. Solid computer skills in all Microsoft applications.
  7. Demonstrated strong organizational ability & time management skills.
  8. Analytical skills and planning skills, high accuracy level and attention to detail.
  9. Strong ability to perform detailed analysis and investigations.
  10. Familiarization with a warehouse management system and RF familiarization in a distribution center setting.
  11. Commitment to inventory quality.
  12. Background in quality management programs such as HACCP, AIB and BRCGS is an asset.
  13. Strong understanding of safety in the workplace.
  14. “Can do” attitude.
