Construction Millwright $35-45.00 Hourly

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with machinery installation, maintenance, service and repair on grain storage and handling systems in various settings including commercial and on-farm clients.

- Competitive Salary starting at 35.00 to 45.00 hourly.
- Full-time Monday to Friday hours with positive working environment. Some shift work and on-call required.

What you do:
- Coach and instruct apprentices.
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts.
- Supervise other workers.
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up.
- Estimate costs and materials.
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
- Assembling machinery and equipment (prior to installation).
- Installing machinery and equipment.
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
Who You Are:
- 3-5 years’ experience with a Construction Millwright Trade Certification.
- Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
- MS Office and Computer knowledge
- Welder Trade Certification/Canadian Welding Bureau Certification – Techniques required; OAW, FCAW, GTAW, TIG, GMAW, SMAW
- Fall Arrest Protection & Hoisting and Rigging Training.
- Forklift Operator Certification & (WHMIS) Certificate.
- You have attention to detail and are good with tight deadlines.
- Able to provide a driving record check (abstract).
- Effective time management, communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently, as a team player and build and maintain rapport with customers.
