REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN - TECHNICAL SUPPORT - SALARY FROM $70 TO $85,000 PER YEAR - START QUICKLY!

Drake International is a recruitment agency specializing in finding talent for its clients. We are currently working in partnership with a renowned air conditioning and heating wholesaler, based in Longueuil, who is looking for a technical support clerk to join their team. As a successful candidate, you will be employed directly by our client, a friendly and growing company.

We are looking for motivated people to carry out various tasks within their new HVAC product distribution branch. The incumbent of this position will have the main responsibility of providing after-sales technical service to customers. With your work experience as a refrigeration engineer, you will be able to assist customers in finding out the reason for the problem with their air conditioning items, assist them and communicate with the manufacturers. You can work from one of our branches located in Longueuil, Quebec, Terrebonne or Drummondville

What we offer

Permanent employment
Full-time employment, 35 hours per week
Daytime hours, Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Competitive salary of $70 to $85,000 per year, to be discussed depending on experience

Main responsibilities:
Assist customers with technical problems with equipment sold;
Manage repairs with suppliers;
Coordinate the ordering of warranty or other parts;
Raise claims.
Assist customers in troubleshooting as requested by telephone or on site
Helping communication between our customers and device manufacturers
Approve warranty repairs according to each manufacturer’s standards.

Who are you ?
Bilingual French/English
Sense of responsibility and excellent understanding of customer service
You have a DEP in refrigeration
Valid driver's license and excellent driving record as you may have to travel sometimes as needed
You have 10 years of experience in heating and air conditioning system repair.
