WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to achieve the company's growth objectives.
- Maintain a constant watch on the local market to spot new commercial opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to plan and implement business development strategies.
- Actively participate in presentations, networking events, and conferences to promote the company's services.
- Work with the proposals team to respond to RFPs and prepare proactive proposals.
- Ensure client satisfaction by responding promptly to inquiries and effectively resolving complaints.
- Contribute to profitability improvement by adhering to pricing guidelines and standard net margins.
- Oversee projects and deliverables to ensure they are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Analyze financial results to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
WHAT YOU NEED
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development in a relevant field (Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, etc.).
- Experience in developing new business, particularly with major accounts.
- Ability to build long-term client relationships with a focus on total quality management.
- Proven skills in prospecting, negotiating, and closing sales with high-level contacts.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in computer tools, including Microsoft programs, and experience with CRM and/or ATS software.
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
