What You'll Do:
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, trailers, and specialized machinery.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Provide guidance and training to apprentices and less experienced mechanics as needed.

Who We Are Looking For:
  • Valid Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certificate or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic, with a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, engines, and electrical components.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid class 5 driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when required.
  • Experience with diagnostic software and equipment is an asset.
