What You'll Do:

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of heavy-duty equipment, including trucks, trailers, and specialized machinery.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used in accordance with company standards.
Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Provide guidance and training to apprentices and less experienced mechanics as needed.

Who We Are Looking For:

Valid Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) Certificate or equivalent certification.
Proven experience as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic, with a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, engines, and electrical components.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Valid class 5 driver’s license and willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when required.
Experience with diagnostic software and equipment is an asset.
