Production Worker

Are you situated near Brockville? Our client specializes in Cable Production and is a locally owned business with several locations within the community.

With consistent growth, our client is eager to connect with skilled Production Workers interested in pursuing FULL-TIME positions and who are amenable to working 12-hour shifts!

What We Offer:

Salary: $22.38 to start - increasing to $24.14 after 6 months
Job Type/Shift: Permanent – 12 hour rotational shift pattern – Continental Shift Pattern
Benefits: Benefits after 300 hours with Drake International

What You'll Do:

Operate production machinery used to manufacture copper and aluminum power cables, including varieties of large rotating machinery and plastics extrusion.
Ensure correct operation of machinery and verify processing conditions.
Adjust machinery as required.
Record production information.

What We're Looking For:

You must have a hands-on mechanical aptitude and willing to work around heavy equipment. Experience is preferred but this can be learned.
General Math and English skills required.
Long hours on your feet in an industrial setting is tough, but you are only working half the year!
Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
Able to work in a team-based environment and have attention to detail. Most importantly ask clarifying questions!
Clear Background check is required.
CSA approved Steel Toe Boots.
