What you do:
- Schedule practicum placements for students in the healthcare programs, ensuring timely and accurate placements.
- Liaise with established practicum partners and actively source new host sites as needed to meet program requirements.
- Coordinate with Clinical Instructors to align schedules and ensure smooth practicum experiences.
- Ensure all practicum documents are received, organized, and saved in students' files for compliance.
- Schedule CPR and Food Safe certification for students and ensure timely completion.
- Distribute and collect practicum availability sheets from students, reviewing concerns and discussing placement options.
- Approve students' eligibility for practicum based on account status, excluding rare cases with extended payment plans.
- Coordinate home support and assisted living practicum placements, working closely with the Senior Director or Associate Director as necessary.
- Conduct mid-point check-ins with students during their home support placements to ensure ongoing success.
- Ensure all students are registered for required certifications and verify successful completion or arrange for reschedules at student expense.
Who You Are:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an administrative or customer service role (a combination of education and experience is also acceptable).
- Proven ability to manage a demanding workload and meet multiple deadlines effectively.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to handle challenges with ease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, faculty, and practicum partners.
- Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.).
