Job Description

Our client, a leader in the automotive industry is growing and looking to add a Licensed Millwright or a Third Year Apprentice Millwright to their team. This is a permanent direct hire position. Must be able to present Millwright Ticket or completion of 3rd year of apprenticeship.

What You’ll Do:

Trouble shoot and implement the installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of manufacturing equipment.
Maintain facility structure and complete repairs as needed.
Replace defective parts of machines and adjust clearances and alignment.
Align machines and equipment using hoists, cranes, hand tools and micrometers.
Adjust tension on nuts and bolts, position parts to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
Operation of forklift and overhead crane.
Must be willing to work at heights and obtain aerial lift certification.
Physically fit for heavy lifting of 50 lbs if needed to complete the work order.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work various shifts on a rotational basis.
Exceptional knowledge of various manufacturing machinery.
Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively.
Operation of forklift and overhead crane.
Must be willing to work at heights and obtain aerial lift certification.
Physically fit for heavy lifting of 50 lbs if needed to complete work orders
