Our client, a Well-known and trusted General Construction company has an immediate opening for a Construction Superintendent to work with their team on several mid to large scale High Rise projects within the Vancouver area.

As a Construction Superintendent, you possess extensive expertise in construction. You will confidently oversee all aspects of the site, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of the project while ensuring safety of all.

What You’ll Do:

On site supervision and coordination of trades for a variety of projects across the City of Vancouver.
Develop and maintain a project plan and construction schedule, in conjunction with the project team, to manage employee and subcontractor activities.
Ensures that the project plan and schedule are executed within budget and that the work is completed in compliance with the design requirements.
Provide leadership to peers ensuring all site staff are adhering to the company safety culture.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years new build Construction Experience – full project cycle
Construction knowledge – overall understanding of construction processes, sequencing and planning concepts
Ability to understand the scopes of work project and schedule, as well as interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills
Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
