We are looking for a Branch Manager with strong leadership and management experience in healthcare who can effectively and efficiently coordinate our service operations, thrive in a collaborative and dynamic environment, and play an integral role in establishing and growing our business.

What you do:
  • Development and implementation of the Branch Business Plan and monthly review of the Profit and Loss Statement towards achievement of our objectives.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to ensure projected yearly growth.
  • Provide leadership in implementation of our objectives and development of our staff and teams towards achievement of our goals and moving the business forward.
  • Create and maintain strong community relationships and partnerships.
  • Understand and support roles for all staff positions including the ability to provide backup support when required.
  • Management and implementation of RN/LPN, Certified Health Care Aide orientation programs for new employees.
  • Maintain Medox quality assurance program and respond in a timely manner to all client quality of care concerns.
  • Management of Health And Safety of Medox employees and reporting of employee incidents and injuries to Workers Compensation of Manitoba.
  • Identifies gaps and challenges with the budget and provides guidance with where we are and where we need to grow to meet projected gross profits.
  • Sets fee schedules for Private Service areas and compensation rates for the field staff.
  • Develop, revise and implement the service related policies and procedures within the branch.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance with provincial and federal government regulations.
  • Set and maintain standards of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, safety awareness and personal accountability.
  • Management of government contracted service areas, Manitoba Family and Labor, Winnipeg Regional Health Authority.
  • Submit yearly revised Budget and written care plan for annual contract proposal for Special Contracted Services (WRHA contract).
  • Submit bi-weekly hours for branch employees for payroll.
  • Assign responsibility and workload to branch employees.
  • Oversee and implement the HR functions of the branch.
  • Schedule and oversee the functions of the after-hours service coordinators.
  • Mentor, train, and provide guidance to all Internal branch staff and field staff.
  • Participate in Drake referral committee meeting and ensures all service areas maintain client feedback on services rendered.
  • Work collaboratively with service coordinators to resolve client concerns effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the security of all client health information obtained through the business and maintaining PHIA standards within all service areas.
 
Who you are:
  • LPN/RN or University degree preferred in Health SciencesSocial Worker or any other health related profession.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a clinical or health care setting.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in operations and leading/managing a team in a clinical health care setting.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure and respond effectively to high acuity situations.
  • Quality improvement mindset and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Solid understanding of business and P&L management.
  • Strong command of the English language both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of federal and provincial health standards.
  • Able to provide accessible, timely and compassionate care to support our clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Adaptable and open to change.
  • Willing to complete a City of Winnipeg Police Criminal record with a vulnerable sector search, child abuse registry and adult abuse registry checks.
  • Current up-to-date immunization record.
  • MUST be a resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba
