Drake Medox Health Services is looking for a Part time Health Care Recruiter to recruit for RN’s, LPN’s and Certified Health Care Aides. The Health Care Recruiter will be responsible for providing quality recruitment services to ensure that Medox Health Care has sufficient staff to provide service to their government and private care clients.
What you do:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Ensuring each candidate is provided with professional, timely, quality service always.
- Preparing effective advertisements and screening of candidates through established assessment processes and best practices.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through diverse channels including Drake Medox’s internal database, e-boards, networking, social media, referrals, and direct recruitment tactics.
- Thorough screening and interviewing of candidates with an emphasis on our diverse client requirements related to knowledge, skills, and attitude that are aligned with the health care industry.
- Effective reference checking (background, criminal, adult and child vulnerable sector, confirmation of certifications and work history) of candidates to ensure suitability of candidates.
- Presenting fully qualified candidates to the Drake Medox Scheduling and management team.
- Ensuring candidate files are well maintained, up to date with registration, referencing, background checks, credentials, test results etc., and treated with strict confidentiality.
- Answer all candidate enquiries in a truthful, non-discriminatory manner ensuring that each candidate has an equal opportunity to be considered for any available positions.
What you need:
- Experience/knowledge working in the health care industry such as a Health Care Aide or Health Care Scheduling Coordinator.
- Recent home care or facility work experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of both RN and HCA home and facility care.
- Exceptional ability to foster long-term candidate relationships with an emphasis on total quality management.
- Exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, supported by a high sense of urgency.
- Proficient computer skills (word processing, spread sheets, email and tracking software)
- Results-oriented approach with a proven record of exceptional multitasking ability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Project management experience with a solutions-focused track record.
- Ability to plan and organize in a time-sensitive environment to deliver on deadlines.
