Job Description

EXPERIENCED FORKLIFT OPERATORS

We are looking for someone who can operate a Sitdown and Standup Reach forklift as well as a Powerjack for our client located in the Balzac area.

For this position, you should have a positive attitude and strong work ethic and be focused on the safe and efficient handling of warehouse products.

What We Offer:

This role pays $20/hr.
Growth opportunities
Afternoon shift – Monday to Friday, 230pm-11pm
Day Shift – Monday to Friday, 8am-430pm

What You'll Do:

Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, stack, and store products around the warehouse as needed.
Perform regular inspections to ensure the equipment is functioning properly and report any concerns.
Handle products safely and securely, and ensure they are transported to the correct designated areas using the warehouse inventory system.
Provide support with other warehouse tasks as needed, including packaging products for shipping, and performing periodic inventory audits.
Follow company safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a forklift operator. (Certification is considered an asset)
Have a strong understanding of forklift safety guidelines and procedures.
You have high attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Must have CSA-approved safety shoes.
Able to pass a criminal background check.
Good communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
