Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Bridges to join our client's Construction team in Woodstock, ON.

Salary - $140K - $160K/year

What You'll Do:

Develop diverse, high-performing teams through coaching, training and development.
Be accountable for the successful delivery of multiple projects.
Provide oversight, leadership and be accountable for the development and maintenance of project schedules and execution plans.
Oversee preconstruction phase, team selection and ensure the teams execute the stages on a portfolio of projects.
Develop strategies and action plans to overcome project execution challenges.
Support business development activities by creating and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients, engineers, suppliers, sub-contractors etc.

What We're Looking For:

Knowledge of construction techniques and disciplines, production and cost control, scheduling, safety policies and regulations and engineering requirements.
Knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
Knowledge of Federal and Provincial Acts & Regulations.
Knowledge of contracts, procedures, impacts of changes on cost and schedules.
Post Secondary degree or diploma in Construction or Engineering.
Minimum of 15 years experience in construction with at least 5 years of managing large projects and bridges.
Proven leadership skills.
Computer literate.
Adaptable and flexible.
Ability to manage large groups, attract and hire workers.
Sound understanding of Risk Management.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
Must be able to work under pressure.
