Job Description

Our client in the Packaging Industry is looking for Machine Attendants to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a Machine Attendant, you will work towards increasing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. In this role, the attendant is expected to support the Bag Machine Operator by preparing materials, monitoring machine output, and assisting with setups in a fast-paced production environment.

What We Offer:

Job Type: Permanent, full-time with benefits
Shift: Rotating bi-weekly, mornings, afternoons, and nights
Start Date: ASAP
Hourly rate: $17.25/hr.
Location of work: Mississauga, ON L4Y 1S1

What You’ll Do:

Pack and inspect the paper bags coming to the machine according to the quality standards.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Visually inspect the paper bags and identify quality measures in case of irregularities and deviations, and communicate with the Machine Operators or the Supervisor for corrective actions.
Maintain housekeeping standards in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
Date stamp boxes, bring them to the work area, and pack them with the products.

What We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in the Manufacturing industry.
Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
Possess knowledge of Health & Safety Standards.
Must pass a criminal background check.
