Job Description

We're seeking a Driver to join our client's team in Vars.

What We Offer:

Salary: $21.75/h
Job Type/Shift: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 3 pm to 8 pm
Benefits: After 300 hours

What You'll Do:

Drive 5 5-ton vehicle and deliver freight to assigned stops within Ottawa and surrounding areas.
Deliver freight in good condition and within the scheduled time (40+ deliveries daily).
Use a handheld device to scan documents and freight.
Load and unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolly and or pallet truck (Lift up to 70lbs).
Complete any necessary paperwork accurately.
Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection.
Report on all safety hazards and accidents.
Use a cellular phone to communicate with dispatch. Ie, truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answering calls, texts, etc.
Provide excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 1 year of driving experience with 5-ton trucks.
Valid G License with clean CVOR and Abstract.
Clean criminal background.
