Job Description

We're seeking a Dispatch Admin Coordinator to join our client's team in the transportation industry and start work immediately in the Moncton area! While this role is primarily a holiday coverage, there's an opportunity to stay on for the right candidate.

For the Dispatch Admin Coordinator role, the primary focus will be on email management and handling return appointments. Strong organizational skills, effective communication, and being tech-savvy are essential for success in this position.

*Please note that the facility is not accessible by public transit, so you need to have a car or your own transportation. *

What We Offer:
  • $19 an hour, plus 4% vacation pay added to your rate (open to going higher for the right experience)
  • Monday - Friday
  • Main shift is 8 am - 4 pm, need to be open to working 7:30 am – 3:30 pm and 9 am - 5p m as well
  • Weekly pay every Friday!
  • Immediate start
  • WHMIS training

What You’ll Do:
  • Handling emails
  • Scheduling pickup appointments with customers by phone
  • Other various administrative tasks
  • Booking and dispatching drivers for pickup and deliveries
  • Ensure all paperwork is filled out correctly 
  • Monitor and respond to driver messages/calls
  • Assist drivers with routing directions, delivery issues and communicating service requirements
  • Other duties as required

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role or similar role is required
  • Previous experience in dispatching within the Transportation/Logistics industry would be a huge asset
  • A clean criminal record is required
  • MS Word and Excel skills
  • Strong organizational and priority management skills
  • Excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Very organized, with excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
  • Able to speak English fluently
