Job Description

We're seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our client's management team in Tillsonburg. The HR Generalist will support the management and production teams. The successful individual will perform a full scope of HR duties.

What You'll Do:

Conduct recruitment for production employees and skilled trade positions.
Enforce company policies and procedures are followed.
Assist with any incidents or investigations with regard to Health & Safety and employee relations.
Follow up on all inquiries from employees, supervisors, and department managers.
Assist with employee performance appraisals and follow up with Supervisors.
Ensure company KPIs are successfully achieved and all areas are compliant.
Maintain current knowledge of all related Company policies and various employment legislations (i.e., Human Rights Act, Employment Standards, Occupational Health Safety Act, AODA) and enforce adherence.
Assist with employee benefits and answering all related inquiries to supervisors and hourly employees.
Support employee engagement initiatives and retention through HR best practices.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

College Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources Management or Human Resources Administration.
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a Human Resources role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Interact and work closely with individuals to resolve issues with a positive outcome.
