We’re seeking an Administrative Coordinator for a major transportation client, with an immediate start in Moncton, NB area! As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing and verifying shipping documents, customer service, scheduling appointments and other clerical/administrative duties. Attention to detail will be key for this position.
*Please note that the facility is not accessible by public transit, so you need to have a car or your own transportation. *
What We Offer:
- $18 an hour, plus 4% vacation pay added to your rate
- Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Weekly pay, every Friday!

What You’ll Do:
- Make telephone calls and send emails to centralized customer service
- Book delivery appointments via phone and email
- Bill accessorial/additional fees as required
- Maintain group email boxes and answer queue calls when required.
- Receive calls from drivers who are not delivering freight for specific reasons and log and note comments in pros
- Scan, photocopy, and fax documents
- Other administrative duties as required (which could include pulling reports)
- Audit shipping documents for accuracy, correct and report to supervisor as needed
- Understand Federal Transportation Compliance documentation and react to and report non-compliance
What We’re Looking For:
- We require payroll entry experience with platforms like Oracle or AS400
- Minimum of secondary education, with preference for post-secondary education (completed or currently enrolled)
- Previous Transportation or operational experience is preferred, various roles within transportation and customer service are beneficial
- Experience with TruckMate is not required, but is considered an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products
- Advanced communication skills
- Able to work under deadlines in high transactional, fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Able to work with little supervision
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Must be fluent in English; other languages are an asset
