Job Description

We’re seeking a Logistics Manager to join our client's team and oversee daily operations across multiple warehouse locations. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a dedicated team, manage shipping and freight strategies, optimize inventory flow, and drive continuous improvement while promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.

Salary: $80k – $95k/year

What You'll Do:

Manage the daily operations of the shipping department, including 3 locations and the primary warehouse location in Barrie.
Ensure good workplace organization and well-defined warehouse mapping is in place to reduce waste and improve the accuracy of customer shipments.
Manage, train, and ensure appropriate coverage in the shipping department.
Coordinate and maintain the transfer and input of information into the inventory system and maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and participate in monthly full-inventory counts.
Process all administrative tasks including completion of waybills, invoicing, filing, etc.

What We're Looking For:

Post-secondary education and 5-7 years of relevant experience are required.
Forklift license and experience is required.
Knowledge of manufacturing or production processes and procedures is preferred.
Must be well-organized with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills.
Must be able to plan, organize, direct, and control daily operations
