Job Description

We're seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our client in Summerstown. As a Skilled Labourer, you'll join a unionized firm with over 20 years of experience as a General Contractor for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects, known for completing projects on time and within budget.

What We Offer:

Salary: Competitive salary up to $25/hour, based on experience, with a raise scheduled for October 2025.
Working Hours: 7 am - 4:30 pm, may require occasional additional hours.
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits include health, medical, dental, and life insurance, with a pension plan available.

What You’ll Do:

Handle tasks such as abatement, digging trenches, pouring concrete, constructing outdoor structures, painting, and other general duties.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of construction plans and drawings and safely use various tools and equipment.
Be knowledgeable and skilled in all aspects of safety and construction-related tasks.
Be organized, work well in a team, and excel in mentoring, motivating, and communicating.
Perform basic inspections on equipment and PPE.
Maintain a polite and respectful attitude towards clients, coworkers, and other trades.

What We’re looking For:

Minimum 1-5 years of relevant experience.
Must have reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
Ability to work a full week with the possibility of overtime.
Ability to recognize unsafe work practices and situations and act to remedy concerns in compliance with health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
