Job Description

We're seeking a Plant Manager to join our client's team in Trenton, ON. As a Plant Manager, you'll take on the challenge of bringing operations of their window and door solutions in the transportation industry to their full potential.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for operations at our Southeastern Ontario.
  • Champion a culture of health and safety by promoting preventive practices and ensuring a safe working environment across all facilities.
  • Evaluate operational performance, including production flow, resource utilization (materials, labor, and equipment), and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving efforts to ensure the successful delivery of complex, high-quality products on time and in full.
  • Oversee the development and execution of equipment maintenance and reliability programs to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
  • Establish and manage operating budgets, ensuring financial objectives are achieved at both sites.
  • Maintain and enhance the quality management system to ensure all products meet or exceed customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Communicate strategic goals and priorities effectively while fostering a collaborative team environment and encouraging employee development.
  • Support organizational commitments to sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
  • Drive and oversee the implementation of development and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the manufacturing group’s growth strategy.
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • A post-secondary degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated results orientation with a strong focus on operational excellence and discipline.
  • A track record of success in driving continuous improvement, managing performance, and fostering a strong health and safety culture.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage, and develop high-performing teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to the United States.
