Job Description

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our client, a well-established services provider, operating across Manitoba. This is a full-time opportunity offering a strong safety culture, a comprehensive benefits package, and the chance to work with a collaborative team.

What You'll Do:

Diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment including:
Heavy construction machinery (e.g., skid steers, excavators, loaders) and
Light-duty vehicles, trailers, and powered mobile equipment.
Work both in the shop and field, with occasional travel required.
Perform repairs involving wear parts, suspension, electrical systems, hydraulics, and welding.
Follow and promote safety and preventative maintenance policies.
Take initiative in maintaining and respecting equipment.

What we’re looking for:

Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification preferred.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license required; Class 3 or 1 is an asset
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a similar role
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and a safety-first mindset
