Job Description

We're seeking a Production Worker to join our client, a leader in compliance training and consulting for hazardous materials/dangerous goods, located in Mississauga.

What We Offer:

Location: Matheson Boulevard and Hwy 10, Mississauga
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay: $20/hr - $21.50/hr (Based on experience)
Temporary-to-Permanent opportunity, with benefits after completing probation period

What You’ll Do:

Clean screens and bind and finish goods.
Clean and prep all screens from all silkscreen presses.
Shrink wrap and box all finished products.
Install eyelet tags.
Corner radius of products.
Rivet or drill holes in finished products.
Cut finished or raw products with a guillotine.
Put finished products away.
Perform general clean up.
Rewind slit and inspect labels from either a Mark Andy or Mecanebec press.
Rewind or slit raw material for use on a Mark Andy or Mecanebec press.

What We’re Looking For:

Some high school or high school diploma an asset.
2 years of experience in a print production facility setting.
Must have excellent communication skills.
Must be Punctual and must pay attention to detail.
Must Pass Crim check and have steel-toe safety shoes.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Safely use utility knife and packaging tape dispensers.
