Job Description

This job is located in Quebec and is open to helping workers from New Brunswick relocate if they are suitable for the role.

What You'll Do:
  • Drive all company safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure 100% compliance.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing techniques in safety, quality, cost reduction, TCO, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual inspections, and plant KPIs.
  • Demonstrate leadership through effective communication, coaching, training, development, and problem-solving to foster employee engagement.
  • Improve plant operations, manufacturing processes, and standardized work procedures, resulting in increased productivity and efficiency through the application of Lean tools.
  • Supervise the plant management team and serve as an ambassador for employee engagement, safety, quality, and lean manufacturing.
  • Develop production schedules to achieve internal goals and meet customer expectations. 
  • Establish and direct plant policies and procedures.
  • Monitors overall plant performance in terms of production and quality standards.
  • Assumes full responsibility for profit and loss; works closely with finance, sales, and marketing departments to achieve sales targets.
  • Other duties as required.

What We're Looking For:
  • Goal-oriented, responsible, ethical, open communicator, and collaborative.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean & Six Sigma concepts and applications.
  • Intermediate computer skills in programs such as MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook are required, as well as fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Able to set priorities in a constantly changing environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, influence, guide, and engage individuals.
  • Must be able to build strong teams and clearly define roles and responsibilities.
  • Enjoy engaging with employees and spend sufficient time in the field.
  • Working knowledge of quality management systems and supply chain management.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and strong problem-solving and project management skills to make difficult decisions.
  • Previous experience in P&L required. • You are legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • You are physically fit.
  • You are highly safety focused.
  • More than eight years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial management, or equivalent degree/experience required.
