Drake International Belleville is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to run a flex staffing recruitment desk, remotely for now but will transition to a hybrid working model which will require time in office.  With exceptional verbal, interpersonal, presentation and negotiating skills, you will provide recruitment services for Administrative Professionals and skilled and unskilled labor for Light Industrial, Warehousing and Supply Chain and Logistics.  


Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:


  1. Flex staffing and Permanent Recruitment when required, 
  2. Identify current and prospective staffing requirements,
  3. Prepare and post position descriptions and advertisements,
  4. Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of their assignments,
  5. Collect and screen potential applicants, arrange interviews and required testing while continually building candidate inventory’s,
  6. Establish and maintain long-term working relationships with both candidates and clients,
  7. Be creative with sourcing and research, strong interviewing skills and conscientious of completing all due diligence,
  8. Identify new business opportunities, defining client business requirements, developing and, expanding client relationships and managing ongoing engagements,
  9. Make recommendations to clients regarding top talent available to meet their needs and provide customer service extraordinaire to ensure the clients expectations are being met,
  10. Responsible for managing the recruiting process through an existing database; networking, contacts, advertising campaigns and direct recruiting,
  11. Manage the recruitment process based on changing priorities and client needs,
  12. Evaluate skills to determine candidate’s viability to support and resolve specific client needs,
  13. Strategize with your team to accomplish branch and personal growth goals.




  1. 2+ years of experience in a similar role,
  2. Experience with coordinating and managing challenging projects with proven results,
  3. A visionary and strategic thinker,
  4. Creative, innovative and results oriented problem solver,
  5. Client centric and able to build strong working relationships, 
  6. Exceptional organization skills, multi-task oriented and efficient in time management,
  7. Able to work with a sense of urgency in a fast-fast-paced, high-intensity work environment,
  8. Self-confident and perseverance with dynamic communication skills,
  9. Creative, professional, articulate and, thorough,
  10. Possess a high level of personal integrity and unconditionally committed to success,
  11. Willing and eager to work hard,
  12. A team player.
